Here's how to correctly list the type and pace of your ride:
On-road = All or nearly all of ride on paved and hard-pack surfaces suitable for skinny road tires. Off-road = All or nearly all of ride on unpaved surfaces. Multi-surface = Ride is a mix of on- and off-road surfaces.
Easy = Frequent stops, modest pace, group stays together, a shorter distance and nothing very strenuous or technical. Medium = Fewer stops, a faster pace (usually aerobic), group stays together, a moderate distance and some harder or more technical sections. Hard = Stops are rare, the pace is fast (constantly aerobic), group stays together, and can include strenuous and technical sections. Race-like = Pace and route chosen to support training for actual races, no stopping for slower riders or flats, and conditions can vary widely.
